The Moonshiner’s Ball, one of Kentucky’s premier roots rock and bluegrass festivals, has revealed it’s eclectic lineup for 2017.  Headlining this year’s event is San Francisco funk band Con Brio, psychedelic southern rockers The Marcus King Band, alt-country songstress Lydia Loveless and stand-up bass crooner Ben Sollee.

Other notable names include Aaron Lee Tasjan, Blackfoot Gypsies, Jon Stickley Trio, Dawg Yawp and too many to list. Check out the full lineup below.

Last year, Dead Audio had the opportunity to experience The Moonshiner’s Ball, and between the mud and music, realized that the organizers are putting on something special. The Moonshiner’s Ball also has a new home beginning this year as it takes place in Irvine, Kentucky as opposed to Berea where it was held the last couple years.

As always, the festival is hosted by the talented bluegrass collective The Blind Corn Liquor Pickers who will take the stage as well throughout the weekend. For full festival information including tickets, visit the Moonshiner’s Ball website.
